H. Spencer Murray
Spencer Murray has lived on the Eastern Shore of Virginia for over 20 years. Born in Richmond, VA he is one of seven children. He attended public schools and graduated from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg. After graduation, he served in US Army Intelligence in Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star Medal.
After the service, Spencer began his career in the financial services industry. He held many executive positions and later established his own consulting firm specializing in revitalizing troubled companies and managing large-scale information technology projects for international and Fortune 500 clients.
Spencer and his wife, Debra, live on Church Creek near Franktown, VA. He has three grown children and four grandchildren.
Spencer is a member of Franktown United Methodist Church and has served on the Northampton County School Board. He is serving a four year term representing the citizens of District 4.
