REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Northampton County will receive sealed Proposals for the Collection and Transportation of Solid Waste generated in Northampton County. Contractors interested in providing these services are requested to submit proposals to the Northampton County Administrator’s Office, P. O. Box 66, 16404 Courthouse Road, Eastville, Virginia 23347, on or before 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
Northampton County reserves the right to accept and reject in total, or in part, any and all proposals received in the interest of Northampton County.

With the adoption of the FY 2013 budget, the Northampton County Board of Supervisors has provided funds to close the two-hour gap in the middle of the day at the County’s Waste Collection Centers, starting July 1, 2012. New Operating Hours will be :
Monday—Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

LEGAL NOTICE REGARDING DANGEROUS STRUCTURES
PURSUANT TO COUNTY CODE SECTION 94.03, Northampton County has determined that the following structures endanger the public health and safety of other residents of the locality and that said structures must be removed, repaired or secured within thirty days of this publication. If the owners of these parcels fail to remove, repair or secure these structures, within 30 days of this publication, the County will remove the structures and the cost of the removal shall be chargeable to the owners of the structures and shall be collected as taxes are collected:
