RESOLUTION

BE IT RESOLVED by the Northampton County Board of Supervisors, this 14th day of October, 2025, that the regular meeting of the Board, scheduled for Tuesday, November 11, 2025, commencing at 5:00 p.m., in the Board Chambers of the County Administration Building, 16404 Courthouse Road, Eastville, Virginia, be changed to Wednesday, November 19, 2025, commencing at 5:00 p.m., in the Board Chambers of the County Administration Building, 16404 Courthouse Road, Eastville, Virginia; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, following the above adjustment, the date, time and place of the regular meeting of the Northampton County Board of Supervisors shall revert to the 2nd Tuesday of each month, commencing at 5:00 p.m. in the Board Chambers of the County, 16404 Courthouse Road, Eastville, Virginia; and

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the work session scheduled for Tuesday, November 25, 2025 be cancelled.

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

The Northampton County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing commencing at 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in the Board Room of the County Administration Building, 16404 Courthouse Road, Eastville, Virginia, to afford interested parties the opportunity to be heard or present written comments regarding the following ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR MONETARY BONUSES FOR CERTAIN COUNTY EMPLOYEES

The purpose of this ordinance is to provide one-time bonuses to certain Northampton County employees – the communication officers of the Sheriff’s Office – in response to donations received by the Towns of Exmore and Eastville for this purpose.

A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for public review at the County Administrator’s Office, Eastville, Virginia, during normal business hours.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Northampton County Board of Supervisors will meet on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Chambers located at 16404 Courthouse Road in Eastville, Virginia, to conduct a public hearing on the following matter:

AN ORDINANCE, NO. 2025-003 Amending § 154.2.003 of Chapter 154.2 of the Northampton County Code, and adding § 154.2.122 to that Chapter, to establish provisions governing food trucks.

The ordinance is on file and open to public inspection in the County Administrator’s Office, 16404 Courthouse Road, Eastville, Virginia.
