Get ready to become a certified CPR instructor with our hands-on course at the Northampton County Training Center ! This in-person event will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to teach life-saving techniques to others. Whether you're a healthcare professional or just want to be prepared for emergencies, this course is perfect for you. Join us and make a difference in your community by becoming a certified CPR instructor!

As an American Heart Association BLS Instructor, you will be certified to teach ALL of the following courses:
-BLS Provider
-Heartsaver First Aid & CPR AED
-Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid & CPR AED

Course Fee includes:
* 8-hour in-person classroom course
* BLS Instructor Candidate Workbook

Students are responsible for purchasing:
* BLS Instructor Essentials online course
* BLS Instructor Manual
* Heartsaver Instructor Manual
* Alignment Fee to align with Tidewater Center for Life Support (TCLS) Norfolk, VA

Course requisites & prerequisites:
*Candidate must be at least 18 years old.
* Candidate must possess a current American Heart Association® BLS Provider certificate
* Have a letter of recommendation from another instructor or Training Officer
* Candidates must attend the 8-hour in-person classroom course.
* Candidates must be monitored teaching their first full course within 6 months of attending the classroom course (there is a monitoring fee).
