Eastville, VA- In Northampton County, the commitment and dedication of our employees are the backbone of our community's success. From managing solid waste and ensuring efficient emergency medical services to the detailed planning and administration that keep everything running smoothly, county employees play crucial roles in our daily lives. Today, we take a moment to celebrate these unsung heroes and acknowledge their long-standing service, as they reach significant milestones in their careers.
Honoring 5 Years of Service
Reaching the five-year mark is a significant achievement, marking half a decade of dedication and contribution. Employees in solid waste have spent these years ensuring our County is clean. Meanwhile, those in the emergency medical services (EMS) have been on the frontline, responding to crises and providing life-saving care. The Planning, Permitting & Enforcement (PPE) department and Public Works have played crucial roles in maintaining infrastructure, ensuring compliance, and supporting community development.
We recognize the following employees for their 5 years of service. They receive a bonus and letter of Appreciation from their Department Heads.

A decade of service is no small feat. Employees who have reached this milestone have shown unwavering commitment to their roles and our community. They receive a bonus and Letter of Appreciation from the County Administrator.
We recognize Joseph Outten- Solid Waste Management & Recycling for ten years of service. His commitment has greatly contributed to maintaining a clean and environmentally friendly community.
Recognizing 30 Years of Excellence
We are grateful to Phyllis Picott- Solid Waste Management & Recycling for 30 years of service to Northampton County.
Three decades of service reflect an incredible journey of growth, change, and perseverance. Employees who reach this milestone have witnessed and contributed to significant transformations within the county. Solid Waste Management and Recycling have been instrumental in ensuring efficient waste management and promoting sustainable practices. Picott's role has been pivotal in adapting to new challenges and continuing to provide exceptional services to the citizens of Northampton County. She received a bonus and one week off.

We give our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Janice Williams, Deputy County Administrator for forty five years of service to Northampton County.

Williams' long-standing commitment and wealth of knowledge are inspiring, and her contributions have left a lasting impact on Northampton County.
